Home Remedies For Scar Removal Fast

1. Lemon Juice

Lemon juice is a very effective way to deal with scar tissue. Lemon has alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) that help remove dead skin cells and regenerate and repair damaged skin. Plus, it works as a natural bleach to help lighten scars as well as blemishes. Apply freshly extracted lemon juice on the affected area. Allow it to dry for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
Apply some moisturizer. Follow this remedy twice daily for several weeks until you are satisfied with the result.

Note: As lemon juice can make your skin sensitive to light, always wear sunscreen before going outside.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar

Another excellent remedy to get rid of scar tissue is apple cider vinegar. Its acidic nature will exfoliate the affected skin and remove dead skin, which in turn will reduce the appearance of scars. Dip a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and apply it on the affected area. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes, then wash it off with water. Apply some moisturizing lotion. Use this treatment a few times daily for a few weeks.

Note: If apple cider vinegar causes skin irritation, dilute it with water before using.

3. Aloe Vera

Aloe vera is known for its ability to regenerate skin tissue and can help reduce the size and appearance of scars. Its soothing and moisturizing property will increase the elasticity of scar tissue and help reduce inflammation. Cut an aloe vera leaf in half and squeeze out the gel. Apply the gel on the scar and massage gently for several minutes. Allow it to dry on its own, then rinse it off with warm water. Do this several times a day for 1 or 2 months.

4. Vitamin E

Vitamin E is another very popular remedy to get rid of scar tissue. It is an effective antioxidant and has a moisturizing property that helps revitalize and nourish the skin. Plus, it can stimulate the formation of collagen, which improves skin texture and strength. Extract the liquid from a vitamin E capsule and apply it on the scar 2 or 3 times daily for several weeks. You can also use a vitamin E cream. Plus, include foods rich in vitamin E in your diet like almonds, safflower oil, hazelnuts and peanut butter.

5. Coconut Oil

Coconut oil has medium-chain fatty acids that act as antioxidants, preventing and reversing free radical damage. This oil can effectively stimulate collagen production and soften the skin to speed up the healing process. Warm 1 teaspoon of extra-virgin coconut oil in the microwave. Apply this warm oil to the affected area, gently massaging using small circular motions until it gets absorbed. Repeat several times daily until you get the desired result.

6. Apply cucumber

Cucumbers have a high water content, which allow the vegetable to hydrate the skin and soothe inflammation associated with acne scars. Take a fresh cucumber and cut off a few slices. Place a slice directly over your acne scar and let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes. Gently rinse the skin with clear water afterward.
Repeat this remedy once a day.

7. Use Milk Cream

Buy high fat cow milk cream in supermarkets. It contains omega-3 fatty acids (Long Chain Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids) including docosahexanoic acid. These fats have the ability to penetrate the epidermis and repair cells, helping restore them to a more natural
state.

Work the milk cream into the affected area. Gently massage the milk cream at room temperature (not cold) into the affected area for 5 minutes. Leave it on for 30 minutes. Cream needs time to penetrate the epidermis and the ultraviolet rays in sunlight can decompose the healthy fats. Rinse off with plain warm water without using any soap or body wash. Alkaline soaps can take away the beneficial fats absorbed by the skin.

Repeat twice a day until the skin is restored.

8. Sandalwood Paste

Apply a mixture of sandalwood paste in rosewater and leave it on your face overnight, then wash it off the next morning. Repeat this process until there is a marked improvement in scars. The usefulness of sandalwood in skin care is very well known. It has actually been one of the traditional, essential elements of make-up kits for women in India for many years. Even today, there are several brands that prepare soaps that names sandalwood as one of its key ingredients.

9. Tomato Slices

Rubbing tomato slices on scars is also found to be effective in reducing the appearance of the marks or scars. This is partially due to the vitamin A and carotenes in tomatoes, which not only provide the red color, but are also antioxidant compounds that can heal damaged tissues and promote the healthy regrowth of cells.

10. Egg Whites

Egg whites are easy to obtain and are effective in treating acne scarring.  Apply egg whites on the scars using a cotton ball and leave it on overnight to get the best effect. Eggs contain a huge amount of protein and by applying that directly to your skin, you can speed the healing process. Proteins are the building blocks of cellular tissue, and muscle, so directly applying and leaving it on your face can boost the speed of your acne scar recovery by quite a bit.

11. Use Neem

The alkaloids found in neem give the plant antibacterial and antiviral properties, so it can cleanse the scar of residual bacteria and allow the body to heal the area naturally. Place a leaf from a neem plant directly over the acne scar. Hold it in place for 15 minutes or so, pressing gently against the scar. Repeat once daily for a week or longer. You can also use neem oil available in alternative medicine stores.

12. Olive Oil

You should use olive oil for cooking since it not only makes food more appetizing, but can also lighten acne scars. Lightly massage olive oil onto the skin, and it will make the skin smooth again and reduce how noticeable the scars are. Olive oil is packed with natural antioxidants, which is why it is so frequently used around the world for a variety of healthy benefits, but in terms of clearing the skin of marks and scars, it is one of the best options for a home remedy.

13. Dietary Solutions

Applying natural or herbal remedies to the affected areas of acne scars can be helpful, but it is not the only solution. Remember that other skin care issues are solved both internally and externally. Be sure to maintain a healthy, balanced diet that has a sufficient amount of vitamins and minerals, particularly those that are renowned for boosting skin health, like vitamin A, and antioxidant rich food that reduces any further damage to your skin. Including fruits and vegetables in your daily diet to reduce acne scars is a good idea, considering they are healthy and delicious dietary items that are commonly associated with healthier skin.

14. Makeup And Creams

For women who want to reduce the appearance of their acne scars, be sure to choose makeup that is light, non-greasy, and oil-free.
